Flash Drive Unreadable on new Mac Bk

I saved an auto fill in form on my old XP PC and saved it to flash drive- I tried to read it on my new mac book with Yosemite 10.10.5 and I am told there is no application to open it. In the list of MOSTL:Y grayed out applications the offers are preview, iTunes, a few more. HOW do I get this topic to open I placed on a flash drive. TNX
